Summer Camp 2008 for 3.5-5 Year Olds
Follow our Yellow Brick Road to worlds of imagination and creative play - each week we will travel to a different exciting storybook location. Each day's activities will be themed around that locale including the theater games we play and the crafts we create!
At the end of each camp session, parents, family and friends are invited to enjoy a final presentation from the campers showcasing the games and improv skills they've learned.

| June 16 – 27 |
Travel to a world deep under the sea where amazing creatures like the great white shark and the mighty Octopus rule the waters! Take on a variety of creatures like your very own Giant Squid or Mermaid, as you investigate and inhabit deep waters in this adventurous 2-week camp. Campers will explore characters though lots of physical movement, song and dance, and a variety of Under the Sea themed theatre games. All young explorers will show off their hard work on the last day of camp!

| July 7-18 |
We are off to see the Wizard! This is a fantastic opportunity for campers to travel to the magical land of Oz. Here we will explore lots of character work, improv, and many Oz related theater games, such as Wizard Wants a Corner, The Wizard Says, and Who Am I? We will explore sensory work, both physical and vocal, as relates to the world of Oz. Campers will present their own unique Oz games and exercises on the last day of camp! |

| July 21 – August 1 |
Our campers will be thrilled to spend 2 weeks creating and acting out their very own fairy tales in a magical forest fairy tale land! We will explore the basics of storytelling, including conflict, character, and setting.
Campers will use crafts and theater games to build and present their own unique fairy tale on the final day of camp! |

Embark on a magical 2-week journey where dragons, princesses, and magical creatures live! We will create our own fantasy world, incorporating real and fantastical creatures. Campers will explore character development and participate in acting and storytelling activities that arouse curiosity and stir the imagination. On the final day, campers will present their very own unique fantasy world. |

| August 18 – 22 |
Here is a theater camp that will build on imaginative storytelling escapades for small people with heroic minds. We will be building magic capes that harbor special powers. We will think-tank an idea every day and then act out variations on them using story building techniques. There will be lots of theater games, stretches, and movement. This is a physical theater class that is a great starter class for young beginners. |

Enrollment and Payment Policies:
- Early enrollment for all current theatre school students starting Tuesday, January 8th at 10am. In person, fax or phone only.
- General public can register on Tuesday, January 15th at 10am, in person, by fax or phone only.
- Internet registration will begin January 15th at 10am.
- Full payment is due at enrollment.
- No refunds available unless your spot can be filled from the waiting list. All refunds will be in full less a $50 administrative fee. All campers under 4 years old are required to provide a birth certificate within two weeks of registration to finalize enrollment.
All campers must be potty trained.
- Morning session: drop off begins at 8:45am, pick up must be by 12:15pm.
- After Care: pick up must be by 2:15pm.
- Emerald City Theatre reserves the right to charge $1 per additional minute of childcare after the approved pick up time.
