2007-2008 Season > How I Became a Pirate

Pirate Logo

"This high energy, swashbuckling experience begins the moment you enter the colorful, yet cozy theater. Pirates greet you at your seats before the show, telling pirate jokes, showing off their swords and daggers and teaching secret Pirate handshakes (the parents must close their eyes). After one final audience Aargh-off competition and a few silly antics from the cast, the show really gets under way... This one-hour performance, with no intermission, keeps kids’ and parents’ attention in large part due to the clever, upbeat songs like “Lookin’ for a Pirate,” “Ahoy Means Hello” and “Pirates Never Tuck You In.” (Chicago Parent)
